Scott scores in Midlands defeat

- Huddersfield Town Under-18s lose at Coventry City
- Cedwyn Scott (pictured) nets Town consolation
- Highlights on #HTTV next week

A goal from top scorer Cedwyn Scott proved to be nothing more than a consolation for Huddersfield Town’s Under-18 side in a defeat at Coventry City on Saturday morning.

Coming up against a Sky Blues side that had won its previous 10 fixtures, things didn’t start well for Professional Development Coach Leigh Bromby and his players when a goal from Crowther put the hosts ahead inside seven minutes at the Alan Higgs Centre.

However, striker Cedwyn Scott netted an equaliser inside 18 minutes to restore parity in the score line.

That was as good as it got for the young Terriers in the end, as Coventry restored the lead through Finn’s 25th minute strike before a late goal from Green two minutes from time.

Action from the game will appear on #HTTV this coming week.
