Huddersfield Town midfielder Philip Billing spoke to #HTTV after receiving his first call-up to Denmark’s Under-21s side.
Billing was today named in his national side’s Under-21s squad for the upcoming European Championship qualifiers against Faroe Islands and Lithuania.
Niels Frederiksen has brought Billing into his Under-21s set-up for the first time as his young Danish side looks to qualify for the 2019 U21 European Championships in Italy.
Denmark’s youngsters will face Faroe Islands in their opening match of the qualifiers on Thursday 31 August, 4pm UK time kick-off at Tórsvøllur Stadium in Torshavn.
The second match against Lithuania will take place on Tuesday 5 September 2017 at the Aalborg Stadion in Aalborg; once again a 4pm kick-off.
Philip spoke to #HTTV about his first call-up to Denmark’s Under-21s, starting for Huddersfield Town in the Premier League and previewed the Club’s upcoming match against Newcastle United.
