Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s side faces one of the longest journeys of the season to face Colchester United in the Professional Development League 2 on Saturday morning.

The young Terriers will be buoyed by last week’s 7-0 demolition of Coventry City last weekend, which was their fifth win in six Professional Development League Two matches. Highlights of that game are below courtesy of HTTV!

The side, which will be led by Professional Development Coach Leigh Bromby this weekend, is now fourth in the league and could leap into third with a victory at the weekend, above Crewe Alexandra.

Saturday’s host sits seventh in the southern division. As per the league rules, the game is one of 10 throughout the course of the campaign against opposition from the southern division.

Town last lost away from home in the league in early-October, so it’ll be an intriguing encounter as the sides have yet to come up against each other yet this season.

The Professional Development League 2 is split into two regional divisions, North and South. Teams play opponents in their own division twice and the other division once, before the top two teams from each league meet in the Play-Offs to determine the overall champions.
