Huddersfield Town’s Development Squad goalkeeper Ed Wilczynski has today returned to Bishop Auckland on Emergency Loan until 2 May 2016 inclusive.

Managed by Steve Riley, the County Durham-based club plays in the Ebac Northern League Division One, sitting 6th with 49 points from 30 games.

Ed has already spent one month at the Club before his loan expired at the weekend, with Bishop Auckland picking up five wins in Ed’s six matches.

This is Ed’s fifth different loan club following stints at Hyde United, Trafford FC, FC United of Manchester and Sheffield FC.

A goalkeeper from Mount, Ed joined the Huddersfield Town Academy at under-14 level having played junior football for Collegians in Salendine Nook.

This season he has made six starts for Frankie Bunn’s Town Under-21 side.

Huddersfield Town’s Head of Goalkeeping Nick Colgan commented:

“Ed knows that his contract at Huddersfield Town will not be extended at the end of the season, so this gives him a chance to showcase his ability and secure another club.

“Ed is a great person and has worked very hard day in and day out during his time under me. He needs this fresh challenge to kick-start and hopefully progress his career.

“On behalf of the Club, I’d like to wish him all the best for the future.”
