Huddersfield Town’s Under-18s side is back in action against Coventry City at The Alan Higgs Centre in the West Midlands on Saturday morning.

The young Terriers will be buoyed by last week’s dramatic 4-3 victory over Yorkshire rivals Barnsley at PPG Canalside, which was their fourth win in five Professional Development League Two North matches. Highlights of that game are below courtesy of HTTV!

Tony Carss’ side is still fifth in the league and could leap into third with a victory at the weekend, above Crewe Alexandra and Birmingham City.

Saturday’s hosts sit seventh in the division, four points below the Terriers.

The Sky Blues performed superbly in the FA Youth Cup this season, getting to the fifth round stage before eventually being knocked out by Arsenal on penalties.

Coventry’s youngsters beat Leeds United 3-2 at Thorp Arch in the last outing and the Sky Blues could match Huddersfield’s current total of seven home wins this weekend by grabbing the three points.

Town last lost away from home in the league in early-October, so it’ll be an intriguing encounter as the sides have yet to come up against each other yet this season.

The Professional Development League 2 is split into two regional divisions, North and South. Teams play opponents in their own division twice and the other division once, before the top two teams from each league meet in the Play-Offs to determine the overall champions.
