Town vs Charlton to take place at Stalybridge

Huddersfield Town’s Under-21 Premier League Cup Round of 16 game against Charlton Athletic will take place on Tuesday 6 January 2015.

The game will take place at Stalybridge Celtic’s Bower Fold ground, with a 1pm kick-off; admission is £4 adults and £2 concessions. The address for the ground is Mottram Road, Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, SK15 2RT.

This is due to heavy usage of the John Smith’s Stadium pitch during December and January, combined with the recent bad weather to hit the region.

Town’s Development Squad reached this stage courtesy of home wins over Barnsley and Everton, whereas visitors Charlton defeated AFC Wimbledon and Brighton.

As a result, the scheduled Under-21 Professional Development League 2 game at home to Nottingham Forest on 5 January has been postponed and will be played at a later date.

Thanks from everyone at Huddersfield Town goes to Stalybridge Celtic for their assistance in hosting this fixture.
