Tony Carss’ Town Under-18 side is back in action after a two week break in the Professional Development League 2 on Saturday when it hosts Nottingham Forest in an 11.30am kick-off.

In its last fixture back on 14 November, the Under-18 side defeated Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday 1-0; Town’s goal coming through Captain Jamie Spencer. Highlights are below courtesy of HTTV!

The young Terriers go into tomorrow’s match unbeaten in their last four league games, winning three of them - including a 7-0 victory over Hull City.

Town’s Under-18s currently sit seventh in the PDL2 after accumulating 22 points from 14 games, whilst opponents Nottingham Forest sit top of the table with 34 points from 16 games.

Forest’s Under-18 side is led by the Club’s former striker Jack Lester.

The two sides met earlier this season, but Town were defeated 4-2 away at the league leaders. Despite second half goals from Jack Boyle and Rekeil Pyke, the young Terriers had left themselves too much to do after conceding three goals in the first half.

The Professional Development League 2 is split into two regional divisions; North and South. Teams play each team in their own division twice and the other division once. The top two teams from each region meet then meet in the Play-Offs to determine the overall PDL2 champions.
