TOWN'S TEAM vs BRIGHTON

Powell makes one change to starting XI

Huddersfield Town Manager Chris Powell has made one enforced change to his starting XI for tonight’s Sky Bet Championship game at Brighton & Hove Albion; 7.45pm kick-off at the AMEX Stadium.

James Vaughan has not travelled to Sussex after jarring his knee in Saturday’s win at Nottingham Forest, so his place in the starting team is taken by striker Ishmael Miller.

Loanee Radoslaw Majewski is back on the bench after missing Saturday’s win due to the terms of his loan.

Otherwise, Powell has again kept faith with the same 18 on the back of successive wins and just one defeat in six games. This means Nahki Wells starts his 50th Town game in attack, whereas Joel Lynch faces the club where he started his senior career.

Development Squad players Joe Wilkinson and Philip Billing joined the squad in Brighton after playing in Monday’s Under-21 draw at Nottingham Forest, but there is no place in the 18 for either youngster.

Town’s team vs Brighton & Hove Albion:
1. Alex Smithies
3. Reece James
4. Mark Hudson (c)
7. Sean Scannell
8. Jacob Butterfield
10. Conor Coady
11. Ishmael Miller
21. Nahki Wells
27. Tommy Smith
28. Oscar Gobern
33. Joel Lynch

Substitutes:
Joe Murphy, David Edgar, Jonathan Hogg, Murray Wallace, Joe Lolley, Jake Carroll, Radoslaw Majewski
