Ambassador’s Invitational at Woodsome
Club Ambassador Andy Booth is hosting his Invitational Golf Day event at Woodsome Hall Golf Course at Fenay Bridge today.
Boothy’s Invitational will start with breakfast from 11am at the course ahead of the 1pm, 18 hole shotgun start. After a full day of golf alongside Town legends, guests will enjoy a two course evening meal ahead of the prize presentation.
On the course with Town’s former striker will be a number of his old teammates.
Wembley 1995 Play-Off match winner Chris Billy and teammates Ronnie Jepson, Jon Dyson, Darren Bullock and Tom Cowan will all take part. As will Efe Sodje and Andy Holdsworth from the team that gained promotion in 2004.
Town legend Boothy commented:
“It will be great to see some of the lads again. It’s amazing that it’s nearly 20 years ago since the promotion game at Wembley, and I’m sure that some of the stories will be coming out on the day.”
