TOWN’S TEAM vs. MILLWALL

11 January 2014

Robins names unchanged team; Wells on bench

Huddersfield Town Manager Mark Robins has named an unchanged side for today’s Sky Bet Championship game at home to Millwall; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

This means that new Club Record signing Nahki Wells is named among the substitutes this afternoon, replacing Cristian Lopez.

The Terriers look set to continue in their 3-5-2 shape today, with Captain Alex Smithies in goal behind the back three of Tommy Smith, Anthony Gerrard and Murray Wallace. Having turned 21 yesterday, Murray celebrates another landmark this afternoon – he’s making the 50th domestic start of his fledgling career.

Paul Dixon makes his 50th Huddersfield Town start today at left wing-back with Adam Hammill on the right. In central midfield, Jonathan Hogg partners Blue & White Foundation Player of the Month Adam Clayton and Oliver Norwood, who is making the 100th start of his domestic career this afternoon.

In attack, Martin Paterson will be looking to add to the five goals in his last four games alongside Danny Ward.
