LOAN REPORT ON TRIO

18 February 2014

A look at how Stead, Atkinson and Mullin have all fared

Striker Paul Mullin was Town’s only loanee to taste victory since htafc.com's last loan report.

The young striker, who graduated from Town’s Academy last season, is currently on loan at Vauxhall Motors and started their latest a victory, a 4-0 win vs Histon.

Mullin was lively throughout and was heavily involved in Vauxhall’s third goal scored by Karl Clair.

Vauxhall Motors’ next match is at home against Telford.

Mullin's fellow striker Jon Stead has started in Oldham’s last two League 1 matches. He played 84 minutes as the Latics drew 1-1 with his former club Bristol City and played 68 minutes as they narrowly lost to MK Dons on Saturday.

Stead had a shot saved well by Dons’ ‘keeper David Martin in the first half and will be hoping for another start when Oldham welcome Gillingham this weekend.

After making his debut against Wolves in early February, midfielder Chris Atkinson has watched loan club Bradford’s struggles from the bench.

Atkinson was an unused substitute as Bradford drew with Crewe and lost to Carlisle. He has another chance to be involved on Tuesday night against Port Vale before the Bantams welcome MK Dons this Saturday.
