170 attend inaugural event
‘Boothy’s Boxing Night’, featuring the in-ring debuts of Town favourites Andy Booth and Darren Bullock, helped to raise £1,500 for club partner Rawthorpe Boxing Club on Friday evening.
The event, held at the John Smith’s Stadium, also featured several pre main event bouts featuring boxers from the amateur boxing club before Boothy took to the ring to face Rawthorpe’s boxing instructor Mark Reynolds, a former junior national champion.
The fights on the evening were kindly sponsored by Hepworth Honda, Specialist Glass Products and McParland Finn Ltd.
