PINK LINK BACK TOWN FOR 7TH YEAR

21 September 2012

Long-standing supporter renews its backing

Nationwide palletised distribution company The Pink Link Ltd has renewed its long-term backing of Huddersfield Town for the 2012/13 season.

The Huddersfield-based company, who’s distinctively branded trucks are often seen on the roads in the region and nationally, have been supporting ‘The Yorkshire Club’ since 2005 and are back once again as the Terriers take on the new challenge of the npower Championship.

As in previous years the pink and black logo of the Pink Link is visible around the Stadium on Town match days, with a future announcement already planned on an exciting new venture the two organisations are undertaking!

Previously the Pink Link has been the title sponsor of both ‘Pink Link Pedal for Pounds’ 2 and 3; first the ride from Brighton to Huddersfield in 2011 and then last year’s record-breaking cycle from Yeovil back to Huddersfield.

The Pink Link’s Managing Director Richard Allen and Sales & Commercial Director Vicki Davenport – along with mascot Pinky Lynx – joined Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis and Commercial Manager Tracy Nelson at the Stadium to celebrate the renewal of the partnership

Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Manager Tracy Nelson is delighted the Pink Link is remaining a part of the ‘All Together in Business’ family:

“Our promotion to the Championship on the pitch has led to a spectrum of new commercial opportunities behind the scenes, but for me it is just as important that we look after those companies that have supported us as we started to progress the Club in the ‘New Era’ – and the Pink Link certainly falls into that category.

“The Pink Link has a very distinctive brand and I’m sure our fans are familiar with them now, but we are always looking at new ways in which we can work together and we have some very exciting announcements coming up over the course of this season.”

The Pink Link’s Managing Director Richard Allen stated:

“Being associated with the Terriers over the years has been an important part of the company’s brand recognition and this is greatly enhanced with Town achieving promotion to the npower Championship. From what we have seen already the team looks more than capable of holding their own and we wish them all the best for the rest of the season.”

The Pink Link’s delivery fleet is specifically designed to cater for commercial, high street, and domestic delivery requirements.
