‘MOVERS & SHAKERS’ COME TO TOWN!

13 September 2012

Influential community and business figures gather in one spot to support Huddersfield

The Club is now set to welcome an array of influential figures from across the community and business not to mention a sprinkling of celebrities to Town on match days thanks to its new match day Lewis James suite!

The new VIP match day lounge, the brainchild of the Club's commercial team has been created with the help of industry leading Club Partner Andy Thornton and based on the principals of Manchester Airport’s prestigious VIP area.

In fact in the first couple of the games this season the Suite has already played host to the likes of Olympic Gold Medallist Ed Clancy, 14 Olympic Torchbearers, as well as Coronation Street stars and football dignitaries like Wigan Manager Roberto Martinez.

The place to be for businesses on match day, the suite also hosts many of Town’s business partners – giving local companies the chance to mingle relax and perhaps do some business ahead of the big kick-off.

The newly launched suite perfectly complements the burgeoning White Rose Club and Stripes Bar for supporters – with food available to purchase on the day to complete your experience.

Further improvements to the impressive new suite are expected over the coming weeks and months, with brand new luxury furniture set for its debut at Saturday’s home game against Derby County.

Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented:

“The new Lewis James suite has been a success in the opening two games of the season and we’re expecting a real ‘who’s who’ of names to add to the atmosphere over the coming campaign.

“It’s important that Huddersfield Town does the right thing and brings these influential, go-ahead people to the area; we want them to see that Huddersfield is the place to make it and get involved in our fantastic town. Times are tough and the town needs these people.

We will take the normal non-match day look and feel of the room and take it to a whole new level in keeping with our plan to create a wow factor. It means long term investment by HTAFC in the physical aspects but equally a real push to make the whole experience very special and the place to be."

Limited places are still available in the Lewis James suite – if you are interested in getting involved on a match day, please contact Commercial Manager Tracy Nelson on 01484 484141 or email tracy.nelson@htafc.com.
