FANS PACK CANALSIDE TO QUIZ HOYLE

7 September 2012

Chairman and Chief Exec meet supporters

Huddersfield Town fans packed out the function room at Canalside Sports Complex to get their chance to pose a question to Chairman Dean Hoyle and Chief Executive Nigel Clibbens on Thursday night.

Over one hundred supporters attended as Match Day Announcer Paul Ramsden hosted the evening, giving the Town faithful the chance to quiz the men in charge at the Club over the latest goings on.

Unsurprisingly the Club’s business in the recently closed transfer window was high on the agenda, with Dean giving an honest and frank assessment on the collapsed deal for Jermaine Beckford, his take on the departure of Jordan Rhodes and other potential dealings.

Attendees took a short drinks interval before Hoyle and Clibbens gave their take on the current squad, with Nigel expressing his excitement over new boys like Sean Scannell, Joel Lynch and Adam Hammill after their impressive start to the season.

The pair then gave an update on the on-going situation with the Stadium Shares before attention turned to the Academy and the role that the Club’s new Head of Football Operations Ross Wilson will take.

A full run-down of the questions and answers is available on twitter via Canalside’s official account, @htafccanalside.

Thanks to all fans that attended the evening; keep checking htafc.com for news of the next Canalside Q&A!
