Third under-21 cap for Town defender
Huddersfield Town centre back Murray Wallace earned his third cap for Scotland at under-21 level this afternoon in a 2-0 victory against Canada in an international friendly played in Marbella, Spain.
The 19 year-old defender played 45 minutes for Billy Stark’s side for the second time in just four days as a quick-fire double of international friendlies came to a close.
The tournament in Marbella was a good chance for Manager Stark to look at his next generation of available players ahead of the European Championship qualifiers, which begin next year.
Murray will now return to Huddersfield ahead of Saturday’s npower Championship home clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
