PLAYERS HEAD TO YBS ON FRIDAY

9 October 2012

Play-Off Trophy continues in Huddersfield town centre

This Friday Huddersfield Town will be heading over to Club Partner Yorkshire Building Society’s Huddersfield New Street branch for a visit with the Play-Off Trophy!

Town players Jimmy Spencer, Matt Crooks and Lloyd Allinson will accompany Terry the Terrier at 1.30pm, so if you are in town at this time head down to see them.

“The visits to YBS always go down well and we owe them a lot for the tremendous amount of fundraising they, and the account holders, do for the Football Club via the ‘Terriers Account’.

“To donate a total of over £500,000 for the Club’s Academy over the years is a fantastic achievement and appreciated by everyone at HTAFC.”

“We always look forward to a visit from the Town squad,” said Ros Emson, Yorkshire Building Society’s Huddersfield branch manager.

“As a building society, it’s important that we are part of the community where we live and work and we’re really pleased Town’s new season in the Championship has got off to such a promising start.

“Players will be in the branch for an hour from 1.30pm for autographs and photos and Terry and the Play-Off Trophy also are available for photos with fans during the day.”

Last month, Huddersfield Town and the Yorkshire announced the Society’s continuing support for the Club’s Academy, with a donation of £71,892.

The money was raised during the 2011/12 season through Yorkshire Building Society’s Terriers Account.
