Rhodes and Norwood receive international call-ups

Huddersfield Town’s Jordan Rhodes and Oliver Norwood have today received international call-ups to their respective senior squads.

Rhodes will link up with his Scottish counterparts for an International Challenge Match on August 15 against Australia.

Jordan’s call-up is his second to Craig Levein’s senior squad following on from his appearance as an 87th minute substitute in the Scots 2-1 victory over Cyprus.

The striker made his mark on the international stage for the under-21s where he has scored eight goals in eight appearances and in doing so is the all-time leading scorer for the Scottish under-21s.

Meanwhile, midfielder Oliver Norwood has received his seventh call-up to the senior Northern Ireland squad from manager Michael O’Neil.

Town’s summer signing is set to play in an International Challenge Match at Windsor Park on Wednesday 15 August, kick-off 7.45pm, against Finland.
