JACK’S LATEST KIU FUNDRAISER!

17 August 2012

8 year-old Jack set for another fundraiser

Eight year old Junior Knight of Yorkshire Jack Fitt is setting off on another fundraising adventure to raise money for the Club’s ‘Keep It Up’ campaign with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance!

On Thursday 23rd August Jack will be setting off on his biggest challenge to date, walking from Elland Road to the Stadium on his ‘Bremner to Boothy’ walk, with HTAFC Club Ambassador Andy Booth accompanying the youngster for the final mile!

Jack is hoping to raise over £500 for Huddersfield Town’s ‘Keep It Up’ campaign which supports the Huddersfield Town Academy and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity. Last season, Jack cycled from Todmorden to Brighouse raising a huge £700.

Partnerships Executive Robyn Deegan commented “Jack’s 16 mile bike ride last season was a fantastic achievement for an eight year old - one which I wasn’t sure he could top!”

“Now he is walking thirteen miles for the campaign which is absolutely inspiring, and goes to show that Town fans of all ages can get involved in making a difference in aid of KIU - good luck Jack!”

Jack, of Rastrick will set off from Leeds at around 8.30pm and hopes to make it back to Huddersfield by tea time.
