Liam Kershaw was named Senior First Team Physiotherapist in the summer of 2017.
Having graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BSc Honours in Sports Science, Kershaw took his first job as a Physiotherapy Assistant within the Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust. Moving into football in 2006, Liam balanced working as a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist alongside being a part-time Academy Physiotherapist at Liverpool FC. He became full-time at Liverpool in 2010, working in competitions such as the UEFA Champions Youth League.
Also holding a BSc Honours in Physiotherapy and a Master of Science in Sports Injury Rehabilitation, Kershaw was then self-employed for a year, before joining Town’s medical setup ahead of the 2017/18 season.
