- Highlights on HTTV this week

Huddersfield Town Under-23s were defeated in their second game of the Professional Development League campaign at home to Queens Park Rangers.

A good crowd assembled for the game that was to be played on the front pitch at PPG Canalside; with kick-off scheduled for 1pm on Monday afternoon.

Frankie Bunn made four changes to his side; one of which introducing Jack Boyle for his first game of the season having missed the opener through injury.

The game didn’t start too well for Town as they went a goal down on the stroke of half-time from a counter attack from the visitors. A cross from Oteh was duly converted by former Monaco Reserve Team player, Axel Prohouly.

Town rallied in the second half and got the equaliser on the 57th minute, shortly after Dom Tear was unfortunately stretchered off and replaced by Matty Daly. The goal came from the returning attacking-midfielder Jack Boyle who marked his first start of the under-23 campaign with the goal.

Jack Boyle was then substituted on the 73rd minute and replaced by Sam Gibson with only around 15minutes of the game remaining, with Town on the hunt for the winner.

The winner was to come, but not in the way of Town, as the visitors grabbed what was to be the eventual match winner three minutes later.

Town were once again looking for an equaliser, introducing Scott High in place of Luca Colville with around 10 minutes remaining, but the equaliser wasn’t to come as Town were condemned to defeat.

Town’s Starting Line-up
