TEAM NEWS: BARNSLEY vs TOWN

11 January 2020

Danny Cowley makes three changes to starting XI

- Huddersfield Town side named to face Barnsley
- Manager Danny Cowley makes three changes from Southampton
- Kamil Grabara, Elias Kachunga & Karlan Grant all start

Huddersfield Town Manager Danny Cowley has made three changes to the starting line-up for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Barnsley; 3pm kick-off at Oakwell.

Kamil Grabara, who was given a rest over the Emirates FA Cup weekend, returns to the side today, with last weekend’s stopper Joel Coleman a substitute.

Top scorer Karlan Grant also returns to the starting XI today, with Florent Hadergjonaj dropping to the bench.

The final switch sees Elias Kachunga start after the ankle problem that has kept him out of the last two games. He replaces the suspended Jonathan Hogg to make his 100th start for the Club in all competitions.

Having been cup-tied for last weekend’s game at Southampton, Rarmani Edmonds-Green and Demeaco Duhaney return as substitutes today. They replace Scott High and Kian Harratt in the squad.

New recruits Richard Stearman and Emile Smith Rowe were not signed in time to feature today, whilst Tommy Elphick (knee), Jonathan Hogg (suspended), Alex Pritchard (knee) and Collin Quaner (hip) are unavailable for selection.
