Date of birth
Huddersfield Town signed goalkeeper Gabriel Rosario on a one-year deal that will run until July 2019.
Born in the state of North Carolina in the USA, the 18-year-old moved to the UK when he was 16 and American and English dual citizenship.
Gabriel is the son of former player Robert Rosario, who was a forward for Norwich City, Coventry City and Nottingham Forest. Gabriel’s father also featured for England’s Under-21 side before continuing his playing career over in America.
The goalkeeper’s contract at his former side Reading expired at the end of last season following a two-year scholarship at the Club, having initially joined from the Carolina Rapids Academy in July 2016.
During his time on the books at Reading, Rosario also gained senior experience through four games for Southern League Premier South side Staines Town in December 2017.
The young keeper earned his first cap for the USA’s Under-18 side in July 2017.
