RARMANI EDMONDS-GREEN JOINS CHARLTON ATHLETIC

Versatile player ends his eight year stay with Huddersfield Town

- Rarmani Edmonds-Green departs Huddersfield Town
- REG joins Charlton Athletic on a permanent transfer
- Move ends his eight-year stint as a Terrier

Rarmani Edmonds-Green has completed a permanent transfer to Sky Bet League One side Charlton Athletic.

This transfer ends Rarmani’s eight-year spell as a Terrier, having originally joined us from the Nike Academy back in January 2016.

Since then, Rarmani has made 55 appearances for our First Team in all competitions, scoring twice.

He now joins Michael Appleton’s Sky Bet League One side, who currently sit 13th in the table with 30 points from 26 games.

Huddersfield Town’s Sporting Director Mark Cartwright commented:

“Everyone at the club wishes Rarmani all the best with his move to Charlton Athletic. He’s a smashing lad and has become a very popular figure here over the last eight years with staff and teammates alike.

“Our incomings in this window would have further reduced his playing time here and this move is a good one for him, as it’s to a good club that is closer to his home in London.”

Manager Darren Moore added:

“Good luck to Rarmani at his new club. He’s been a pleasure to work with during my time at Huddersfield Town and has played some important minutes for us, but this move is the right thing for all parties now.

“I hope he really kicks on with Charlton Athletic now.”

Everyone at the Club thanks Rarmani for his effort over the past eight years, and wishes him all the best for the future!
