After joining the Huddersfield Town Academy as B Team Manager earlier this week, Kevin Russell sat down with HTAFC Sounds to discuss his career so far, his first few days at the Millers Oils High Performance Complex, and the role he will play in our Academy going forward!
Boasting years of experience, Russell arrives in West Yorkshire as both a former player and manager, with his most recent appointment as Assistant Manager at Cheltenham Town.

Offering insight into both his playing career and coaching journey thus far, Russell discussed his first few days with the Academy and how he's settling in at Town. Arriving in Yorkshire at an exciting time for our Young Terriers, the new B Team Coach shared what attracted him to the position, and how he sees himself working alongside both the wider Academy sides and First Team.
Ahead of tonight's fixture with Nottingham Forest at the John Smith's Stadium in the Premier League Cup, Russell also previewed his first game since joining, giving supporters an idea of what to expect.
