Huddersfield Town Foundation's annual Wear Blue and White Day this Friday!

- Wear Blue and White Day annual fundraiser
- Taking place on Friday 26 January
- Get in touch for a fundraising pack

Huddersfield Town Foundation’s annual Wear Blue and White Day takes place on Friday 26 January, and they are inviting Town fans to get involved by showing their colours with pride and raising funds for the Breakfast Clubs.

A day to embrace the colours of Huddersfield Town, the Foundation is encouraging people to join in and gain donations to help them provide nutritious meals for children who would otherwise go hungry ahead of a day of learning.

The Breakfast Clubs cost over £140,000 to run per year, meaning the fundraising events that Town’s Official Charity conducts are extremely important.

In September, the Breakfast Clubs surpassed a massive milestone of 2.5 million breakfasts served since its inception in 2012.

So, how can you get involved with Wear Blue and White Day? Well, it’s simple all you need to do is do an activity associated with blue and white and donate to their cause.

Here are some suggestions from the Foundation on how you can help turn Kirklees Blue and White:

- Host a blue-and-white-themed bake sale and donate the profits
- Donate a percentage of blue and white products sold in your shop
- Wear odds socks: one blue sock and the other being a white one
- Complete a sponsored activity in blue and white, i.e., run, cycle or a challenge
- Have a blue-and-white non-uniform day at your school
- Paint your face blue and white
- Whatever your suggestion, the whackier the better, as long as it involves the famous colours of Town and donations, you can get involved.

By supporting the cause, you can feel assured knowing that your creativity and generosity have helped someone facing destitution.

Whether it is taking part with your friends, family, club, business or school, help the Town’s Official Charity make this the best Wear Blue and White Day to date!

You can also get involved by purchasing a Foundation cupcake from Hartley’s Bakers and Confectioners’ shops at Lindley or Brighouse, as proceeds from the sale of those come to the Charity.

To register your interest, please get in touch via fundraising@htafcfoundation.com to receive a Wear Blue and White Day fundraising pack full of ideas on how to start planning!

Make sure to post your photos and videos of what you are doing by tagging the Foundation’s pages and using the hashtag #WearBlueandWhiteDay!
