Huddersfield Town captain Jonathan Hogg visits mural in his honour with HTTV

- Jonathan Hogg discusses new mural with HTTV
- Hoggy joined by designer Peter O’Toole and artist Tom Crowe
- Mural celebrates captain’s decade of service

Having recently unveiled our latest Club mural dedicated to captain Jonathan Hogg in recognition of his decade of service, we revisited the site with the man himself to capture his thoughts and feelings for HTTV!

Taken aback by the tribute, Hogg was only made aware that it was happening as the mural was close to completion. Speaking to HTTV alongside representatives from BBC Look North, BBC Radio Leeds, ITV Calendar and more, our latest installment across the town has again captured the imagination of supporters and media alike.

Painted by Tom Crowe from Northern Mural Co and designed by illustator Peter O'Toole - the same team (pictured below) who collaborated on our first mural at the Millers Oils High Performance Complex in recognition of our Thrice Championship winning side in the 1920s - we are also thankful to Lee Marsden and all at Majestic Site Management for their assistance, and Terry Sykes of Barry Sykes Enterprises for thier cooperation.

Supporters can listen to Hogg, our artist and designer discuss the project on HTTV, with each giving insight into the process, how the piece came about and their feelings on the finished product, with the skipper reflecting on his ten years of service so far. Having signed for the Club in 2013 from Watford, it's been one of the busiest decades of action in the modern history of the Club - supporters can CLICK HERE to revisit our original story about the thoughts behind the mural.

Located on the intersection of Leeds Road and Lower Fitzwilliam Street, supporters have already shared thier happinesss with the poject since it was first unveiled, with Hogg also speaking of the reaction from his family, friends and teammates, both current and former. One of the main routes to the John Smith's Stadium and an incredibly busy junction within the town, our latest mural won't have a shortage of eyeballs as The General keeps a watchful eye of what is happening below him.
