Despite falling behind early on through a goal of their own making, the Terriers fought back to equalise soon after, missing several chances to win the game as the contest unfolded.

An uncharacteristic mistake in midfield allowed Adam Wharton to run through on goal unchallenged to score in the opening exchanges, but rather than shrink, Town clawed their way back into the fixture and put the moment behind them quickly.

Eventually hitting level terms through Michał Helik who nodded home a Sorba Thomas corner for his eighth goal of the season, Town pushed on and created another huge chance in the first half to go ahead with Josh Koroma racing through before playing Jack Rudoni in unmarked from close range - taking the shot first time on his left boot, the effort scewed wide, leaving the midfielder visibly annoyed with himself.

Continuing to look for the win after the break, the best chance of the half fell to David Kasumu, with some lovely one-touch play in midfield seeing Rhys Healey send the midfielder clean through. Bearing down on goal, he shot across the goalkeeper but pulled his effort the wrong side of the upright, again letting the home side off.

Returning from the bench, forward Bojan Radulovic came close to opening his account by turning inside a defender and sitting him down, but with little time to shoot as the goalkeeper sprinted off his line and dived at his feet, the forward was unable to get off a telling effort despite the promising run and movement in the build up.

With a week to go before heading to Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road next Sunday 28 Janaury, it's another important fixture for the Terriers on the road before finally returning home to the John Smith's Stadium against Sheffield Wednesday on Satruday 3 February.
