GET YOUR BUSINESS OR SCHOOL INVOLVED IN THE FOUNDATION’S #WEARBLUEANDWHITEDAY

21 January 2024

Huddersfield Town Foundation's 2024 Wear Blue and White Day!

- Sign up for the Town Foundation’s annual fundraiser
- Taking place on Friday 26 January
- Raise money for the Breakfast Clubs

Huddersfield Town Foundation is appealing to local businesses and schools to get involved in their Wear Blue and White Day fundraiser on Friday 26 January.

A staple event in the Town Foundation’s calendar, Wear Blue and White Day raises money to help the Club’s Official Charity run their Breakfast Clubs, which costs over £140,000 per year to run.

The Breakfast Clubs are an essential part of the Foundation’s mission to battle against poverty in the area of Kirklees. Every school day, the Breakfast Clubs provide children in need with the best possible start to their day, giving those young people the nutrients needed for a full day of learning and development. In operation since 2012, the Foundation has served over two-and-a-half million meals to pupils across 41 schools in Kirklees.

So how can your business or school get involved with Town’s Foundation’s Wear Blue and White Day?

Well, it’s simple all you need to do is do an activity associated with blue and white and donate to their cause.

Here are some suggestions from the Foundation on how you can help turn Kirklees Blue and White:

- Host a blue and white-themed bake sale and donate the profits
- Donate a percentage of blue and white products sold in your shop
- Wear odds socks: one blue sock and the other a white one and make a donation
- Complete a sponsored activity in blue and white, i.e., run, cycle or a challenge
- Have a blue-and-white non-uniform day at your school
- Paint your face or nails blue and white and make a donation

Whatever your suggestion, the whackier the better, as long as it involves the famous colours of Town and donations, you can get involved.

The Foundation has been supported by many Breakfast Club-associated schools already, as well as businesses such as Hartley’s Bakers and Confectioners and Fired Up Corporation who will be taking part.

By supporting the cause, you can feel assured knowing that your creativity and generosity have helped someone facing destitution.

Why not get involved and help Town’s Official Charity make this the best Wear Blue and White Day to date, raising vital funds and gaining more exposure for your business?!
