- Jon Worthington makes two changes to the team
- Ben Wiles and Radinio Balker come into the side
Huddersfield Town Caretaker Manager Jon Worthington has made two changes to the team for tonight’s Sky Bet Championship game against Sunderland; 7.45pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.
With Hogg on the bench, Lee Nicholls captains the side.
Our second switch comes in defence, where Yuta Nakayama is replaced by fit-again Radinio Balker.
The starting side is otherwise unchanged from Saturday’s game at Southampton, but there are other additions to the bench.
Danny Ward makes his first appearance in a match day squad in 2024; he returns from the Achilles problem that has kept him out since mid-December.
Delano Burgzorg is also back among the substitutes, having missed our last seven league games with an ankle injury.
Tom Edwards, Giosue Bellagambi, and Tom Iorpenda drop out of the match day 20.
Tom Lees makes the 550th league appearance of his career this evening, whilst David Kasumu is making his 50th Sky Bet Championship appearance.
Worthington is without Jacob Chapman (ankle), Josh Ruffels (groin), Michał Helik (knee), Jaheim Headley (ankle), Ollie Turton (knee), Kian Harratt (suspended), and Rhys Healey (groin).
