Huddersfield Town Foundation have launched their first-ever charity Golf Day on Thursday 11 July at Crosland Heath Golf Club to raise money for their Breakfast Clubs.

Hosted by Town legend Keith Hanvey, the Foundation is looking out for teams that would like to compete in a golf tournament to fundraise for the Club’s Official Charity.

It is just £350 per team of four to enter, which includes a breakfast sandwich upon arrival with a choice of tea or coffee, a two-course meal, and the sponsorship of a hole for your business or team.

After meeting at 11.45am, tee off will take place at 12.30pm in a shotgun start, which will see all teams from different holes begin simultaneously.

There will also be fun games throughout the day before competitors will be able to enjoy a lovely two-course evening meal to bring what is set to be a great day to an end.

And whilst golfers will be having bags of fun, they will be safely assured to know that their generosity will be going a long way to helping young people across Kirklees.

Per annum, it costs Town’s Foundation over £140,000 to run their Breakfast Clubs, so by submitting a team, you’re helping to raise vital money for this programme.

Serving over 2.5 million meals since its inception, the Breakfast Clubs provide children affected by poverty to have the best possible start to a day of learning at schools with a nutritious breakfast.

So, whether you’re a business looking for a team-bonding day, a group of fans or local golf enthusiasts, why not put in a team and help raise money that will directly impact the local community.
