With the September 2023 international break coming to an end, Town will be back in Sky Bet Championship action at the John Smith’s Stadium against Rotherham United this weekend.

Holding his pre-match press conference at the Millers Oils High Performance Complex, Town Manager Neil Warnock discussed the latest with his squad availability, how training has been during the international break and his thoughts on our first win of the season against West Brom and the challenge Rotherham United will hold.

Speaking to the press, Warnock said:

“Tom Lees got through last night and hopefully he’ll be available on Saturday.

“Everyone else is okay right now too.

“The players did ever-so-well at West Brom, so I can’t see too many changes.

“I don’t think anybody is fitter than us, and it’s been good to have a break after a tough run of fixtures.

“We’ve come out of that now and we have to move forward. The fixtures are just as difficult, but we need to make it difficult for our opponents!

“I had a great time at Rotherham. It’s a typical Yorkshire club - the type that I love, like here.

“It will be different for Ben Wiles on Saturday, but they will tell you that he is who he is.

“Whoever he’s playing against, he will give 100%. I think he will prove to be one of my best ever signings over the next few years.

“Rotherham are capable of beating anybody - but so are we.

“We know Saturday will be a battle, and we have to match them.

"I thought David Kasumu came in and played excellently against West Brom without much training, just as Jonathan Hogg had done before him.

"I think when he finishes growing he'll be a decent player Kyle Hudlin! He's working ever so hard in training, he's a genuine lad.

"I think the fans appreciate the hard work we're putting in - it was great to give them that reward at West Brom.

"They've followed us brilliantly all season, and to places further away like Plymouth.

"It was lovely to see that ecstasy at full-time, they're great days, those."
