Goalscorer Michał Helik credited the collective effort of his teammates as the Terriers came from behind to secure an important point at Coventry City on Monday night.
“I think we deserved that point, especially after the second half,” Helik told HTTV after the final whistle.
“In the first half we started a bit nervously, I think, but we sorted out things and said a few words in the dressing room and improved our game in the second half. In the end, that made us get a point.
“It’s not an easy ground to play (at). They are a good side, Coventry, but we didn’t come here to lose the game – we came here to win it. If you cannot win it, you try to draw it and I’m so glad we did that at the end of the game.”
Helik netted his second goal of the season to get the point, but was keen to pass the credit on to the entire squad.
He continued: “It was very nice to finish the game like this, because I felt the whole team put in an amazing effort today to try and change the result.
“For me to score in the last moments of the game is an amazing feeling and I’m buzzing after that, but today is not about me – it’s about the whole team and that amazing effort.”
