It’s been another busy month for the seven Town players who are currently out on loan, with lots of minutes played, some goals scored, and assists recorded amid other experiences.

This latest update on the seven players covers the last month. For the first loan update of the season on 8 September, click HERE.

Brodie Spencer, Motherwell

Our 19-year-old defender (pictured above) is still starting every game at left wing back for his loan club, Motherwell, who sit fifth in the Scottish Premiership despite a recent sticky patch.

Amid a four-game losing streak have been tough single goal losses against Scottish giants Rangers and Celtic, with Brodie getting his first taste of playing at Ibrox in the process.

He now has a total of six starts for Motherwell, recording one assist.

Brodie is currently away with the Northern Ireland senior team during the current international break and faces a trip to bottom side St Johnstone on Saturday 21 October following his return.

Scott High, Ross County

It has been a tough start to the season for Ross County and Scott. His side is 11th in the 12-team Scottish Premiership, and Scott has been an unused substitute in four league and cup games throughout September and October.

Their game at the weekend away at Dundee was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, so the next chance for Scott to make his debut will be at home to high-flying St Mirren on 21 October.

Jordan Rhodes, Blackpool

Jordan continues to score for his loan club, and heads into the international break with six goals in seven League One games for the Tangerines.

The highlight was a hat-trick in the 4-1 home win over Reading, and most recently he netted at the weekend – although Blackpool let a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 at Charlton Athletic.

Blackpool have a game on Tuesday night at home to Liverpool U21s in the EFL Trophy before heading back to league action on Saturday at home to Stevenage.

Tyreece Simpson, Northampton Town

After a slow start, striker Tyreece is picking up form at his League One club Northampton Town.

He has two goals in as many starts in the EFL Trophy and is starting to impact league games, as Cobblers Manager Jon Brady told the Northampton Chronicle recently:

"He's getting better every week and he will keep improving and he will keep getting better. He's only 21 years of age, you have to remember that, but he's a good player and I think his confidence is starting to build now, which is really important.”

Northampton sit 17th in the Sky Bet League One table. Their next game comes on Saturday 21 October at Bolton Wanderers.

Kieran Phillips, Shrewsbury Town

Forward Kieran has now played a total of two starts and seven games as a substitute for his new club, most recently playing the final half hour of their 1-0 home win over Northampton Town on Saturday.

Shrewsbury are 18th in the League One ladder ahead of their away trip to Cambridge United on Saturday.

Connor Mahoney, Gillingham

Connor has opened his Gills account since our last update, netting a great goal in their 2-1 home win over Morecambe in September.

He’s also recorded assists as they lost at Doncaster Rovers and drew at home to Mansfield Town.

He’s now started nine games in all competitions, scoring once and providing four assists.

Although Gillingham sit third in Sky Bet League Two, they parted company with manager Neil Harris last week. They now face games away at Portsmouth in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night before a trip to Walsall in the league on Saturday.

Aaron Rowe, Crewe Alexandra

Rowe now has two starts and four substitute appearances for Crewe Alexandra. His most recent came on Saturday, when he grabbed his second assist for the club in their 2-0 home win over Gillingham.

Crewe are sixth in the early Sky Bet League Two table. They host Wrexham in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday before a game at home to Tranmere Rovers on Saturday.
