In the latest episode of our ongoing Terriers Together Talks series, Huddersfield Town Equality Lead and HR Manager Zoe Shackleton and Head of Supporter Services Robyn Kennerdale sat down to discuss our recent PLEDIS Advanced Award win and the work of our Supporter Services department!
Having worked for many years within the Premier League’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion standard, the Club was recently delighted to be awarded the Advanced level of the scheme, highlighting how the Terriers Together - backed by our patrons Thornhill Dental - mentality was engrained within all aspects of Huddersfield Town.
Alongside that success, our work as a Menopause Friendly Employer was also rewarded, as we were named the Most Supportive Partner at the Menopause Friendly Awards, expanding on our position as the first Club to gain Menopause Friendly status.
Finally, the Club was delighted to extend our run in being recognised by the EFL’s Family Excellence Awards, with our Supporter Services department – lead by Robyn Kennerdale – working to a framework provided by the league to ensure that all areas of the Club are as good as they possible can be for supporters and their experience of following Town is as good as it can be.
Discussing all that and more with both Zoe and Robyn, our latest Terriers Together Talks is a great listen for all of our supporters who want to know more about the work that goes on behind-the-scenes at the Club that eventually leads to these types of awards and accolades.
