Town supporters raise £4,000 for the Foundation
- Season Card holders exercise the option to donate to Town’s Foundation

Huddersfield Town Foundation has thanked Town Season Card holders for their generosity in raising £4,000 in donations for their community programmes.
Back in April, when Town fans were pledging their commitment to the Club ahead of the 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship campaign, supporters had the option of donating to the Club’s Official Charity when purchasing or renewing their Season Card.
The Foundation iswas thrilled to confirm that many fans took up that option during their checkout and have raised more than £4,000 for their work in the Kirklees area.
A large chunk of those funds will go to supporting the Foundation’s Breakfast Clubs, which have helped to serve over 2.5 million meals to children across 41 schools since its inception in 2012.
It costs over £140,000 a year to run, meaning the donations received will go a long way to funding its execution.
Those Town supporters will be able to say that they have had an important hand in giving a child in poverty the best possible start to a day of learning with a nutritious breakfast.
The Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer Siobhan Atkinson commented:
“The Foundation would like to place on record a massive thanks to the fans of Huddersfield Town who have shown their commitment to not only the Club but the Foundation with their donations.
“The Breakfast Clubs are a big part of our charity, and a lot of work goes into the fundraising events we do to ensure we can continue that delivery, so to see the supporters not only buy into our work in the community but support it financially too is a very pleasing aspect.”
