A tactical arm-wrestle in the first half gave way to an all-action second 45 minutes at Stockport’s Carrington Training Centre, with Town coming from behind to lead through good goals by midfielder Michael Stone and forward Hazeem Bakre.
In the end the spoils were shared thanks to a brace for Stockport man Keane Barugh, which was probably a fair reflection of the game after the full 90 minutes.
