Academy scholar Danny Isaac signs for Huddersfield Town

Town have today added young forward Danny Isaac to our Academy, with the 17-year-old linking up with our U19 group on a two-year scholarship!
Arriving from Cobham Football Club in Surrey, our new Academy striker already stands at six feet two inches, with Isaac impressing during a period on trial with Town.
With the Club for at least the next two years as per the terms of his scholarship, Danny has already shown his potential, scoring for the U19s in their last fixture away to Grimsby.
Working on both his physicality and technical aspects of his game as part of our full-time Academy coaching programme and provision, Isaac will be challenged with excelling at U19 level before looking to make the step up to B Team level at our coaches discretion.
Academy Manager Jon Worthington commented:
“We’re really pleased to have welcomed Danny to the Club, and are happy for him and his family that he’s earned this opportunity to play through his scholarship.
“Danny has impressed us during his spell on trial, in his play, his application in training and his attitude around the building.
“This is where the hard work now starts, though, but the opportunity is what Danny makes of it from now on. As we do with all of our Academy players, he will have our full support in trying to become the best version of himself possible.”
