After his visit, Chris Maxwell commented:
“It’s amazing to visit a school like this and see the amazing space they’ve created for the pupils to learn and enjoy their day with their classmates and teachers.
“Giving time back to our local community is something I really enjoy and find rewarding, and that’s part of the reason why I wanted to become a Terriers Together Ambassador.
“The work the Club of off the field in EDI is really important to me, and I’m happy to help in any way I can, especially when you get the opportunity to visit brilliant places such as Fairfield.”
On their website, Fairfield School Headteacher John Page says:
“Our dedicated team of staff consistently provide quality provision and learning experiences for our students which is both appropriate and personalised in meeting a wide range of complex needs for students from 4 to 19 years old.
“The students remain at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy, safe and confident and that the opportunities we offer are matched to their needs for the present and for the future.”
