The review looks back on Huddersfield Town’s 2011/12 Sky Bet league One promotion-winning season, as Town secured their return to the Sky Bet Championship for the first time since 2001.
After being beaten in the Play-Offs the year before, this film documents how the Terriers bounced back from the disappointment to win promotion at Wembley Stadium through nearly 110 minutes of match highlights, interviews, and exclusive content.
The DVD, ‘Going Up Up Up’, features highlights from all 46 of Town’s league games, as well as all the key moments from the Play-Off campaign, including the famous penalty shoot-out victory over Sheffield United in the final at Wembley – where our ‘keeper Alex Smithies scored the penalty that secured our promotion.
It looks back at the season Town broke an English Football League record, putting together an unbeaten run of 43 games, reaching the milestone with a 2-1 win over Notts County in November 2011.
Top scorer Jordan Rhodes scored both of Town’s goals that day, two of his 40 for the season – all of these goals feature on the DVD as well as the thoughts on the season from Rhodes himself.
In addition to this, there’s interviews with Dean Hoyle, Manager Simon Grayson, Captain Peter Clarke, and Academy graduate Jack Hunt.
