Reacting to Town’s home loss to Coventry City at full-time, Manager Neil Warnock admitted that side have to defend much better and show supporters how much they care on Tuesday evening.

Speaking to HTTV at the end of the game, Warnock said:

“It’s a major blow to us, really.

“One bad pass and we’re one nil down, and I don’t think we deserved to be.

“We said at half-time we could come back into the game, but you can’t give goals away the way we did.

“The way we gave the second goal away, there’s so many errors by so many different players, and that’s the end of the game really.”

With only a few days until Town return home in another Sky Bet Championship fixture with Bristol City, the Manager said:

“I’m glad we’ve got another game quickly, I wouldn’t want to stop with that for a week if I’m honest.

“It’s another tough game, but they’re all tough, aren’t they?

“We’ve got to try and upset a few, we’ve got to ruffle a few feathers.

“The fans are brilliant, they’ve been so much behind us and we’ve got to try and give them something to shout about.”
