Town Manager Neil Warnock spoke to the press ahead of our next Sky Bet Championship fixture with Coventry City from the Millers Oils High Performance Complex earlier today.

Speaking about team news, reviewing the Burnley defeat and looking forward to the games remaining this season, Warnock said:

"We've had a few extra lads training today, so we'll see how one or two of them are. With another game on Tuesday I'd rather be safe.

"There's been a few that have had knocks, so we're just keeping an eye on them really. Ruffels trained, but he's not 100%.

"Duane Holmes is still a couple of week away in honesty, so if he's not back by the international break it will be afterwards.

"Anthony Knockaert trained this morning and he'll train again tomorrow. He just had a small issue with his foot so it wasn't worth risking him in a game like Burnley away.

"Tyreece Simpson had a small issue after training which is why he missed out, but he'll be training again tomorrow. We've had another lad drop out ill today."

"I was disappointed by the Burnley result, and the goals we conceded. We've had a meeting about it and they all know what I think.

"You've got to trust your players as much as you can, so you either respond or you're not in the team, it's as simple as that at this time of the year.

"We've got to try and start when the whistle goes, and that's what I've been stressing this week.

"Every game is winnable now for me from now until the end of the season, that's how I feel.

"We've got a genuine bunch, nothing is for the lack of trying. I want my lads to respond to the crowd at home, they were brilliant against Birmingham so I expect the same.

"The fans are with us, they know every game the players will give everything and that's all you can ask for.

"The way we are, I think we can win away from home as well, me. We've got to be on our game and be really clued in, but that can take us up the table.

"When you look at the fixtures, staying up might be the greatest achievement in my whole career!

"Even in the Birmingham game, we went down after six or seven minutes and I didn't hear a single boo - the fans got us going again.

"We're going to need that support, and I know they will stay behind us."
