Ahead of our Sky Bet Championship fixture with Bristol City on Tuesday 7 March, Manager Neil Warnock spoke with the press to share his thoughts before another highly important game.

Discussing the latest team news, his feelings following the defeat to Coventry City and the challenge ahead for the side in the fixtures remaining, the Manager said:

"They are all difficult games, but when you've had a bad result you want to get the next one along. I was in for quite a bit yesterday going through it all and it was all self-inflicted.

"We've made mistakes, but we won't be throwing the towel in.

"Now isn't the time to be critical, it's the time to roll up your sleeves and get on with it. We can upset one or two of the top teams in the next few weeks, and that's what we've got to do.

"They're genuine, there wasn't a lack of effort on Saturday.

"I've just got to try and get the best out of them, and I want our fans to feel like between now and the end of the season we've given everything and not left anything in the dressing room.

"I'll tell you: there's nobody at all not trying, it's not in their nature.

“We can't feel sorry for ourselves. You're playing for the Terriers, you're playing for the Club - you've got to care like the fans that work hard and pay their money to come.

"The minimum requirement is 100% effort."

Going on to speak about our next opponents, Warnock said:

“Bristol were on a good run up until this weekend, Nigel has a got a good mix - they've had a really good crop of young players come through too, which helps.

“They have a front four that are as good as anything in the league, so we'll have to defend better than we have been against them.”
