Huddersfield Town launch 2022/23 charity shirt in support of four amazing local charities

- Shirt will be worn at Huddersfield Town vs Norwich City
- Limited Edition of 500 shirts produced
- On sale NOW from shop.htafc.com

We are delighted to launch our 2022/23 charity shirt, in support of four amazing local charities!

The shirt, which will be worn in the game against Norwich City on Wednesday 15 March at the John Smith’s Stadium will see all proceeds raised be donated in support of Ruddi’s Retreat, Andy’s Man Club, The Huddersfield Town Foundation and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Predominantly yellow and red, the shirt adorns the Yorkshire Air Ambulance logo on the front, but will raise money for all four designated charities. EFL regulations prohibit the use of all four charity logos.

Designed by internationally renowned illustrator - and Town fan! - Peter O’Toole, the shirt is priced at £49 for adults and £39 for juniors. Personalistion is also available with all letters and numbers in red, with sleeve badges an optional extra too!

Having worked on projects for leading brands such as Mundial magazine, FIFA, the New Yorker and Variety magazine, Peter O’Toole has worked with Town’s Retail team since 2016, collaborating on projects from kit launches through to retro mug and t-shirt designs.

The shirt is a limited edition, with just 500 being available for purchase, and is a must purchase for football shirt collectors, supporters of the charities and Town fans alike.

Head of Retail Luke Cowan commented:

“The aim behind the idea of the charity shirt is to raise awareness of four fantastic charities and to raise lots of money, with all proceeds split between the charities.

"The shirt has a very unique pattern which pays homage to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s blades and we were delighted that Peter O’Toole agreed to get involved with this project.

"I think our fans will agree that the shirt is something very different to the famous blue and white stripes and back us by buying this shirt.

“I’d also like to thank Utilita, SportsBroker and Skinny Foods for relinquishing their advertising space for the game against Norwich.”

Club Ambassador Andy Booth added:

“I’m delighted that we are launching a special shirt to support some superb charities who all help our local community.

"The shirt is certainly eye catching and I hope it catches the imagination of our fans who will purchase it and wear it with pride at the Norwich match.”

Finally, illustrator Peter O’Toole shared:

“I think the fact that Town are launching a charity shirt is great, and I was honoured to be asked to help with the design.

"It raises money for some excellent causes and I’ll be proud to watch the team in it at the Norwich game.

"My advice to fans is to buy as soon as you can, as I’m sure these will be collectors items in the years to come.”
