Following his first clean sheet in Town colours, goalkeeper Tomáš Vaclík joined HTTV at full-time to reflect on the home draw with Bristol City.
Reflecting on the game, the goalkeeper said that luck wasn’t on Town’s side, and if it were they could have taken all three points.
“In the end we had some corners, some shots.
“If we had been a little bit more lucky we would have scored and we would win, but it’s a point after two difficult results and we need to take it and go on from this.
“We need to go step by step, because we know how the table looks.
“We’re one point closer now, we have a difficult game on Saturday so we need to recover well, prepare ourselves for the next fight.”
Sharing his feelings after coming back into the side and keeping his first clean sheet as a Terrier, he said:
“It feels nice, but it would have felt better with the three points.
“First clean sheet, I’m happy with that, but I’d have preferred to take the three points like I say.
“I hope it was a better example of the type of goalkeeper I am, especially after so long with the shoulder injury first before I signed for the Club.
“I tried to support Nick the best I could in training and from the bench and I know he did the best he could, and I was happy to be back in goal today.”
