MATCH DAY ACTIVITIES vs MIDDLESBROUGH

31 March 2023

Plenty to do ahead of Huddersfield Town vs Middlesbrough

- Lots to do for families at the John Smith’s Stadium
- Indoor community hub located opposite Legends Bar and Café
- Huddersfield Town Foundation activities taking place before the match

If you’re coming to our Sky Bet Championship fixture against Middlesbrough on Saturday 1 April, we’ve got plenty to do ahead of the match!

Here is all the information you need to plan your day at the John Smith's Stadium this Saturday!

COMMUNITY HUB

Located opposite the Legend’s Bar and Café, our Community Hub is home to table football, FIFA 23 on the PlayStations, and colouring areas!

Face painting and balloon modelling is also free from the Community Hub prior to kick-off – so young supporters can stand out in the crowd and show their Terrier Spirit with blue and white face paint.

Available to Under-18s only, children must be accompanied by and adult to gain entry.

TERRY THE TERRIER

Our official Club mascot – the one and only Terry the Terrier! – can be located around the Community Hub before the match.

You can most likely find him sitting in his deckchair, before making his way inside the John Smith’s Stadium by the Core Lower Stand closer to kick-off.

Feel free to go up and grab a selfie with everyone’s favourite Terrier!

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN FOUNDATION

The Huddersfield Town Foundation will be running various activities before the match, ranging from the sounds of the Terrier Brass to a 'spot the ball' activity, as well as information on the Foundation's work.

Staff members of the Huddersfield Town Foundation will be working on the Match Day Inflatables (weather permitting), wearing t-shirts with information on how to donate via text.

Foodbank bins will be found around the footpath of the Stadium and inside the Community Hub for supporters to donate non-perishable food – the initiative supports the Welcome Centre and Batley Food Bank.

On their way down to the John Smith’s Stadium, supporters are encouraged keep an eye out for staff and volunteers in Foundation t-shirts with collection buckets and donate any spare change, with all the money raised going back into the Foundation to help fund their projects in the community, including their Breakfast Clubs.
