Following on quickly from a three nil loss at Bodymoor Heath to Aston Villa, our B Team will be back on the road on Tuesday 7 March to take on Accrington Stanley in the Central League.

An opportunity to get back to winning ways, Accrington will present another stiff test for Jon Worthington’s side with the Lancashire based outside currently undefeated in the competition after nine games played.

Town B have been in their own good run of form of late too, however, with the Villa loss coming after two impressive victories over Sheffield United and Bolton Wanderers. Having had a busy campaign in February with seven games played, the B Team will be looking to build on that at the AS Community Stadium.

Having last faced each other at the Millers Oils High Performance Complex in January 2023, it was a 1-3 loss for Town that day despite Kyle Hudlin netting his first for the Club. Having fallen behind early on, Town equalised before the break but two quick Accrington goals after the restart put the game out of reach.

Kicking off at 1pm at the AS Community Hub (Thorneyholme Road, Accrington BB5 6BD) on Tuesday 7 March 2023, the home side will wear their traditional all red home strip, with Town in all black on the road.
