Sporting Director leaves after nine years at HTAFC

- Leigh Bromby departs Huddersfield Town
- 42-year-old has worked at the Club for nine years
- Club thanks Leigh for his hard work and dedication

Huddersfield Town can today confirm that Leigh Bromby has departed his role as Sporting Director.

Leigh, 42, first joined the club as an Academy coach in 2014, progressing to become Academy Manager in 2018.

He was named as the incoming Head of Football Operations at the conclusion of the 2019/20 campaign and has the led the football strategy at the club for the past four years, most recently as Sporting Director.

The Board of Directors would like to place on record our thanks to Leigh for his diligent hard work and dedication during his nine years at the Club and wishes him the very best of luck for the future.

Chief Executive Jake Edwards commented:

“On behalf of the Club, I would like to thank Leigh for his achievements during his long association with Huddersfield Town.

“This change comes as we look towards a fresh start at the Club, and as we begin to build towards the start of the new season.”
