ACTIVITY ADDITIONS AHEAD OF HEERENVEEN AND BORO!

28 July 2023

Match Day activities to continue seeing additions toward 2023/24 season

- Lots to do ahead of Heerenveen and Middlesbrough games
- First games at the John Smith’s Stadium in over two months
- VIP base open with Magic Rock and hotdog stand

If you’re coming to our pre-season friendly against SC Heerenveen on Saturday 29 July and our Carabao Cup game against Middlesbrough on Tuesday 8 August, we’ve got plenty to do ahead of the match!

Our match day offering will continue to expand as we kick-off our 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship campaign, with our first two home fixtures of the new season - our friendly with Heerenveen and Carabao Cup tie with Middlesbrough - still giving plenty for supporters to do!

COMMUNITY HUB

Located opposite the Legend’s Bar and Café, our Community Hub is home to table football, FIFA 23 on the PlayStations, and colouring areas!

While face painting and balloon modelling won’t be available for our friendly against SC Heerenveen, it will be free from the Community Hub prior to our Carabao Cup game against Middlesbrough, so our young supporters can stand out and show their Terrier Spirit with blue and white face paint.

Available to under-18s only, children must be accompanied by an adult to gain entry.

TERRY THE TERRIER

Our official Club mascot – the one and only Terry the Terrier! – can be located around the Community Hub ahead of kick-off.

You can usually find him by his giant deckchair!

Terry will then make his way inside the John Smith’s Stadium by the Core Lower Stand closer to kick-off to cheer on his team.

Feel free to go up and grab a selfie with everyone’s favourite Terrier!

INFLATABLES

Weather permitting, our football themed inflatables will be found out in front of the Core Stand Lower ahead of kick-off, which always prove to be popular.

Whether you want to test your power on our inflatable speed cage or try your luck at target shot games, make sure you head across early to get yourself a go!

TERRY’S GUIDE TO THE GAME

If it’s your Young Terriers first game, or they’re a regular at the John Smith’s Stadium, Terry has made a special guide to help them out!

The perfect treat to take to their seat so they can watch the game whilst enjoying their snacks!

ACTIVITY ADDITIONS

An area opposite the inflatables by the Core Lower Stand will be open with FREE entry, with Magic Rock standing by to serve you pre-match drinks and a Rollover Hotdog Stand ahead of our friendly against SC Heerenveen and Carabao Cup game against Middlesbrough.

Look out for more additions to our match day activities leading up to our first home Sky Bet Championship game of the 2023/24 season, when we welcome Leicester City to the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday 12 August 2023.
