Blue and White Members can now vote for their January 2023 Player of the Month!
Members of Town’s Blue and White Members Club can now choose who they think has been Town’s stand out player throughout this month
The Terriers have scored two goals in the two league games played this month and one goal in the one FA Cup fixture.
January saw Duane Holmes get his second goal of the season, where he scored at home in the 25th minute against Luton.
The midfielder took one touch to steady himself before firing straight into the far corner. Holmes also made his prescence known in Town's away game against Hull City where he fancied his chances and took a couple of shots at goal. Holmes scored not only the first goal of the month but subsequently the first goal of the year, kickstarting the Terriers’ attack for 2023!
This month Town’s new signing Florian Kamberi also scored his first goal in his debut match against Preston North End in an Emirates FA Cup Fixture on 7 January. Kamberi, who has been training with the Terriers since November, half-volleyed the ball from his left foot from around 12 yards out and scored.
Another potential contender for January’s Player of the Month is Michał Helik. The centre-back joined Huddersfield Town in September and has had a noticeable prescence on the pitch ever since. In his 19 matches played this season he has scored two goals and made one assist. This month, Helik has continued to be a key component in Town’s back line.
Ultimately, however, the choice is yours!
One lucky adult member and one lucky junior member who choose the eventual winner and will be chosen at random to meet Town’s Player of the Month at the QPR fixture on Saturday 4 February 2023 and present him with his award! They’ll also receive a signed picture of themselves and the winner.
